We have been most cruelly robbed of someone very special who was headed for greatness. Seldom have I experienced a live show from someone so young who was so obviously teeming with talent as well as wisdom and grace beyond her young years. I loved the record. I loved the Hugh's Room debut. And I lived for the raw enjoyment of watching you reach for and attempt to achieve your dreams. Clearly focused and supremely gifted, the loss is all ours. I hope your family can cherish the fact that you were able to touch so many so deeply in such a short span of time. As for this ending, Shakespeare could not have written something so unfitting. Yet we have your music and, for those who met you, the remembrance of your big smile and that knowing twinkle in your eyes. There's good to be had each time we listen to your music and wonder what might have happened over the full course of a complete career. Maybe that's why you were so good so quickly.....

I am deeply sadden by this terrible event. I have only just heard of this young entertainer and have taken the time to listen to some of her music on-line. She had a sound all her own and I am sure would have become a Canadian treasure. My deepest prayers are with the family and friends that she has left behind. I am sure she is now in a better place.
