Taylor's Guestbook
Saige Alcott Saint Louis I never heard of Taylor Mitchell till this program on Nat. Geo. came on telling this story. At first I saw this girl playing this guitar and thought that it was a new show or something about musicians. Well as I continued to watch, I was shocked to learn that this was a young rising musician who was the first person to be killed by a coyote. I couldn't believe that she was dead. So I did the courtesy to look up her music and play it in her honor. She had a sweet, soft voice that just meshed with her guitar! She was a beautiful girl also. Why must bad things happen to good people? That question rings in my head every time I think of her. Anyways, I would like to give my condolences to family and friends of Taylor Mitchell. She was a young, bright and intelligent woman as far as I know. She must have brought a lot of joy and happiness to the people around her. Rest in sweet, silent peace Ms. Taylor Mitchell. Monday, March 14, 2011 02:48 PM Amber Wv Like so many others, I was unfortunate enough to discover Taylor after her seemingly premature death... I immediately search her on the Internet and when I heard her beautiful voice chills came over me. Such a tragic event. She had such a unique and comforting voice. I'm envious of those who knew her in person, she seemed to be such a beautiful free spirit. May she walk with angels. Monday, February 21, 2011 01:31 AM Jim Archey Barclay, Md. Beautiful young lady, fantastic voice. I'll buy her music. A voice silenced, a voice memorialized through beautiful music. Saturday, February 19, 2011 09:44 AM Stephen Memphis, TN I stumbled across the story of Taylor's death, found this site and fell in love with her songs. I bought "For Your Consideration" and find it a relaxing pleasure to listen to on long road trips. I'm sad she was taken so young, but she will always be with us. I often wonder how amused she might have been to think of someone driving along I40 in Tennessee singing Clarity with her. I hope the sun's shining like crazy where ever you are xx Thursday, October 28, 2010 11:54 PM Mark Philadelphia Like many people, I discovered Taylor and her music due to her premature and tragic death. Since then I have grown to envy those who had the pleasure and privilege of knowing her in life. The world has truly lost someone very special. All of us that have been touched by the prodigious talent of this young woman should thank her parents, particularly her mother Emily, for nurturing, encouraging and supporting Taylor in her musical endeavors and sharing her, all too briefly, with the world. I will forever cherish Taylor's music and the bittersweet joy that it gives me every time that I listen to it. I will mourn the loss of what was and what will never be. The challenge now falls to all of us to insure that Taylor's life and legacy is never forgotten. Her music still resonates and she is always present in the hearts of her listeners. Thursday, October 28, 2010 06:53 PM Christoph Germany ...listening to the songs!!
Thursday, October 28, 2010 10:25 AM Diana Berner Grove City PA Today is Sept. 25, 2010. I know this is a long time after Taylor's passing to be sending a message but I just wanted to send my condolences to her family. I am the mother of Candice Berner who was attacked by wolves this past March in Alaska, while jogging in Chignik Lake. Please know my thoughts and prayers are with you and hopefully one day you will e-mail me and let me know how you are doing. Your daughter Taylor sounds so much like my daughter Candice with free spirit, happiness and a zest for life. Would be nice someday to be in contact with you. Take care and God Bless.
