As a member of the Toronto indie singer-songwriter scene that Taylor thrived in, I just want to express my deep sadness that this has happened to one of our own. Although I did not know her personally, from what I have heard from others and from her myspace, Taylor was a great talent and a kind soul - her contributions to both music and life in general will not be forgotten.

My thoughts go out to the family of Taylor and to those on the trail who tried to help her.
She clearly loved life and nature. Only now are some of us discovering that she was an amazing talent, which makes her passing even more devastating.

I could hardly believe the story
when I read it. Such an unusual
happening, no rhyme or reason.
Truely sad. She will be missed
by all who knew her through her
music but no doubt she'll be missed most deeply by
those who knew and loved her in life.

I am deeply shocked and profoundly grieved at the knowlege of Taylor's passing.
She was truly a precious young lady with talent beyond her age and, most importantly, a sweet and kind spirit.

May the God of all Creation be your comfort and give you the peace which passes our understanding at this time and always.
I know that the angels were applauding as she made her entrance into the kingdom of heaven. May she rejoice as she sings to her Heavenly Father praising Him forevermore.
You were truly blessed to have such a special tender, talented, precious one in your lives. The tragedy is that she was taken so soon. The blessing is that she will always be young, beautiful, sweet, and kind in your memories.

I have only come across you after reading a news website about this awful tragedy. I visited your myspace to learn more about you and to hear your music. Every song I listened to was beautiful and very you were clearly very talented, especially at a young age, and you seemed like a wonderful beautiful person.

All I can say is 'Only the good die young'
