Thursday, October 29, 2009 11:16 PM Paul Toronto My sincere condolences to Taylor's family and friends... I just want to share with you that I hiked the Skyline trail an hour or two before Taylor was attacked... the trail is breathtaking, and it was a beautiful fall day, sunny, crisp cool air, there was only one other couple on the trail when I was on it, the most amazing view of the Cabot trail and the ocean, I also saw two moose along the trail... I am not sure what else to say... I am so sad for the loss of Taylor... Holly
Played war games in the woods with his Indian friends
And he built up a dream that when he grew up
He would be a fearless warrior Indian Cheif.
Many moons past and the dream grew strong until
Tomorrow he would sing his first war song and fight his first battle
But something went wrong, surprise attack killed him in his sleep that night.
And so castles made of sand melt into the sea, eventually.
In life, Miss taylor already knew what it was life to fly amoung the angels: to love and appreciate the beauty that abounds outside of ourselves and all around.
i will enjoy your music in quiet moments... and open my own heart more to the inspiration and magic of this beautiful complex world.
thank you, miss taylor mitchell.
and god bless the mitchell family and friends one and all
Being on the west coast, I am so sorry that I didn't know who your beautiful daughter was and it took this horrible tragedy for the rest of the world to discover Taylor and her beautiful gift.
Taylor has been taken from all of us, far too soon. It just goes to show how precious life is. I hope you decide to release any upcoming albums Taylor may have and any lyrics she may have written and have them recorded by name artists. This will be Taylor's legacy. Hopefully I will be able to find the CD at HMV or another national music store with partial proceeds to Taylor's favourite charity or a foundation in her name.
I can't imagine what you and your family must be feeling right now and I will not pretend to.
God be with you and your family at this time. He will light the way.
Hugo R.
