I had the displeasure of reading about Taylor's tragic end online today. I then wanted to know more about Taylor and her music. I watched the two hour recording and was rewarded with Taylor's easy and unassuming nature. She even mentioned one of her influences was Lucinda Williams whose father the poet Miller Williams lives here in town. Its a small world we live in and the internet makes it smaller. The circumstances of Taylor's death allowed me to glimpse at Taylor's promise. I wish Taylor's family and friends my condolence's as you grieve. So long Taylor Mitchell as one of your songs lyrics says your life was certainly one without cost.

I got the honour of knowing Taylor while working with her at Chapters. Taylor was one of the kindest, most light hearted, life loving people I had ever met. I am truly blessed that I got to know her.

I just heard about Taylors death in a german online magazine. I have to admit I did not know her since then. Last night I could not sleep and was surfing in the Internet. I remembered the girl who died because of a coyote attack. When I did a bit of research I found Taylors myspace webpage with all her songs on it. I ended up listening to her music till early dawn. She wrote such beautifull songs, which I like very much since I am a big country fan.
I makes me so sad that she had to die so young and in such a cruel way.
My solicitousness is with her loved ones.
