It is so sad, but we have to face the reality of loosing a beautiful artist and a vibrant soul...

I last saw Taylor in June at the Free Times Cafe. We were talking about the Songwriting workshop I was organizing with Blair Packham & Rik Emmett at Ryerson called SongStudio, and she asked me if I thought she should attend ? I told her that she would definitely enjoy it.....but there probably wasn't a lot we could teach her. She was that good !!! I will miss you, T......and will always remember that last hug.....!!!

Terrible story. Such a freak thing. Cyotes are afraid of people. Condolence to her family.

And please people. Hiking alone, be educated how to protect yourself, take someone with you, or something to protect yourself.

I have learned to survive my hard times with the saying"One door closes, another one opens", but suddenly am at such a loss to imagine what to say in a situation like this. As a musician and aspiring filmmaker myself, I hope someone close to this story can capture her presence in song and/or video, for those she leaves behind to have something to grasp onto. I am so sorry.

My thoughts and prayers are extended to all of Ms. Mitchell's family members and friends. God simply wanted a front row seat in order to listen to her beautiful voice.

To the family and friends of this lovely young woman I want to say how very sad I am for you for your loss. Please continue to believe in her dream - dreams never die and let her belief in herself and her music be your motivation. I hope God will bless and keep you all.
